I am going to take my time and explain my approach and what you can expect from our services as a Wilmington NC photographer who specializes in Wilmington beach weddings. Before I became a wedding photographer  I was a surf photographer for a awesome magazine that had its glory days here in Wilmington. This surf magazine served as a platform for me to hone my lifestlye approach to beach weddings.

When we first get together for your wedding day, I hope that at least we woul have had a meet and greet or a possible beach engagement photographer session here at one of the nearby beaches. If we have had the honor to work with each other then you will know just how fluid and seemless my workflow is. Wilmington beach weddings are one of my strongest styles and if you are at all an outdoors person with spirit and charisma it will seem like a dance with us creating beach portraits together. As with all photojournalism styles or candid approaches our connection is vital. I do not enjoy contrived photos  and or static beach portraits. They just dont have any life to them, and truly just seems to be the status quo with many new photographers competing in the market today with really low pricing structure and unable to deliver the quality that a professional photographer can deliver.

I personally hate using the flash, you will see time and time again photographers using flash on all their photos and portrait sessions as if to make sure they capture their images and seem somewhat afraid to step outside of the box and try something new. Alot of time the reason for this is just they have not had time or the passion to discover what their camera is capable of if even really know how to use the manual settings on their camera to capture amazing Wilmington beach weddings using their professional gear.

My approach is simple and yet effective. knowing how natural light falls and learning from all my mistakes when I was first beginning as a Wilmington beach weddings photographer has allowed me the confidence to with out thinking anticipating where the best images will be taken and how and what connection will take place between us, is an art, that happens in seconds.
